FORECAST

A front stalled across the state is keeping storms in the forecast today. Expect mostly cloudy conditions with temperatures in the mid 80s this afternoon.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop this afternoon and evening with the potential for heavy rainfall within stronger storms.

There is the potential for localized street flooding.

A few lingering showers early tonight then partly cloudy and muggy again into Tuesday morning.

Our soggy pattern will continue though the middle of the week with rounds of showers and thunderstorms.

Storms that develop could produce strong wind gusts, frequent lightning and heavy rainfall.

Drier air is set to move back in by the end of the week, helping to reduce our storm chance.

Hazy, hot and humid conditions for the weekend with highs in the lower 90s.
