On Saturday, around 11 a.m., Linn County Sheriff Deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident on Martelle Road in rural Springville.

First responders found a blue Ford Escape in the west ditch with three people inside.

According to the report, the vehicle was heading westbound when the driver didn't make it around a bend in the road, causing it to veer into the ditch.

The driver of the Escape was identified as 18-year-old Joanna Patterson of Monticello.

The passengers were identified as 21-year-old Heather Burrow of Monticello and 19-year-old Lucas Brooks of Agency. All three occupants were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
