BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A postal worker was injured in an assault Wednesday afternoon in Southwest Baltimore, police said.
On June 11, at around 12:25 p.m. in the 3100 block of Strickland Street, a 38-year-old postal worker was attacked by a 46-year-old man.
Police said the confrontation began when the suspect questioned the postal worker's employment status. During the altercation, the suspect brandished a knife and cut the postal worker on the finger.
The postal worker also suffered an abrasion on his elbow after falling to the ground while trying to escape.
The suspect is currently in police custody, police said.
